Harold Brewer moved to Florida from Athens, Georgia in the late 70’s.  He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a veteran of the US Air Force.

Since moving to Florida he has been a business executive/owner of several companies that provided services specializing in community bank software products and technology utilization.  He has extensive experience with community banks in Florida and throughout the US.

He joined the Florida Highway Patrol Advisory Council in 1998.  Since that time he has served the Council as Treasurer and as Secretary.  He has been Vice President of the Advisory Council since 2009.

Brewer has long been active in charitable and conservation activities. He currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee and as Managing Director  - Bahamas for The Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving critical habitat for Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit.  He and his wife Mona have chaired or co-chaired several charity events in Florida over the past twenty years.
